VK has over 30 years experience in the industrial sector, primarily in factory and plant maintenance for companies such as Fiji Sugar, Carter Holt, Griffins & Visy. VK is a reliable and skilled Electrician with a wealth of electrical knowledge and excellent fault finding ability. VK is currently on a long term assignment, keeping our client’s baggage handling systems operating efficiently. He is happy to work flexible hours or on a roster and is available for shutdown work.

Skills & Experience:

• Installation and wiring of electrical equipment – switchboards, cabling, autotransformer starters, pumps etc
• Fault finding and resolution on automatic controls of dynamic systems and on variable speed DC control drives up to 150Hp
• Industrial wiring of power points, lights, motors, switchgear
• Powerhouse synchronising and load sharing of gensets (diesel & steam turbines)
• Rectifying faults on motor control centers (using blueprints and algorithms)
• Preventative maintenance of electrical plant and equipment
• Auto-electrical servicing and testing
• Low and high tension cable terminations
• PLC wiring

• NZ EWRB Practicing Licence
• Electrical Inspector
