With over 20 years of hands-on expertise in heavy fabrication and welding LR has worked across the marine, industrial, and construction sectors both in New Zealand and abroad. He is skilled in a wide range of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, Arc, and FCAW, and has worked with structural plate, pipe, and a variety of metals including stainless, carbon, aluminium, and copper.

Skills & Experience:

• Two decades of experience in welding and fabrication
• Skilled in Mig, Tig & Arc welding in all positions, of various metals – mild steel, stainless, aluminium, copper, and die steels
• Can weld pipe, plate, vessels, and tanks to high-pressure specs and in positions up to 6G
• Extensive marine experience including vessel and piping repairs, tank fabrication, and heavy structural work
• Experience in structural and plate welding in the industrial and commercial space
• Confident working from drawings and meeting production deadlines under pressure
• Experience in steel bending, cutting, and site installation work
